Living on THREE ingredient recipes!

The concept that stay at home moms or SAHM's do not work is a MYTH. I have to admit that I thought this myself (before staying home with my daughter) that I would have tons of free time to scrapbook, get all those projects I had been putting off done and be able to keep an IMMACULATE house. Boy was I wrong! It seems like I have MORE chores, less money so I have to seek out the deals and do research and for some reason a MESSIER house. I'm still trying to find a balance and flow. I have GREAT respect for moms who work too.

One way I keep balance is by finding recipes that take the LEAST amount of ingredients (saves money) and the LEAST amount of cooking/preparing time. If they are healthy its a BONUS! Here are two 3-INGREDIENT recipes that are staples in my house! And of course in true "Living on Luv" fashion you can cook them in a CROCK POT! Be forewarned- in my house we are meat-eaters so very few vegetarian meals make my table, but all meals come with at least a veggie on the side :)
The recipes are for two, but you could easily double them.

Scalloped Ta-Toes with Pork

1 Pkg. Scalloped potatoes
3/4 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
4 to 6 pork chops

Follow directions on box to prepare potatoes. Add 3/4 cup sharp Cheddar cheese to mixture. Spray crock pot with non-stick spray, transfer potato mixture into crock pot. Put pork chops on top of potatoes. Cover and cook for 6 hours on low. Season to taste.

Chicken-Cheesy Crock Pot
3 whole boneless chicken breasts (you can sprinkle these with garlic powder if you prefer)
2 cans cream of chicken soup
1 can Cheddar cheese soup

Put all ingredients in crock pot. Mix. Cook on low for 8 hours, do not lift the lid. Serve over rice or noodles.
